Botulinum Neurotoxin Injections (Botox)

Whilst commonly known for its use in cosmetic treatments, Botox is an important tool in pain management. It works by blocking nerve signals that control over active muscles and reduce pain signals.

The procedure involves a fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox into the treatment area. This is performed without the need for sedation. Botox can be effective up to 4 months, longer if combined with physical therapy.
